Kazakhstan Program

Kazakhstan adoption is one of the quickest adoption program available.

There are many children living in orphanages in Kazakhstan. The orphanages in Kazakhstan are clean, and have best caregivers ratio. Kazakhstan children are very beautiful with light to medium skin, Asian eyes and soft, dark hair. Boys and girls, 6 months and up. Most children are of Asian or Kazakh heritage; there are some Caucasian children, and some are a beautiful, striking mix of both. The ages of the waiting children range from 5 months to teenage years, with a sliding foreign fee schedule depending on the age of the child adopted. Adopting younger Kazakhstan children is more expensive than adopting older children. Children are also tested for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV. Medical reports and videos are also available for each waiting child.

The Kazakhstan adoption program is open to both couples and single women. Parents adopting from Kazakhstan must be no more than 43 years older than the child they adopt. The age limit for parents completing a Kazakhstan adoption is 45 years old, although there is some flexibility with Kazakhstan officials.

Kazakhstan Adoption Timeline

As with all adoptions, much depends on how quickly you can complete your dossier. However, once the dossier is sent to Kazakhstan, the process goes very fast. You usually receive an invitation to travel to Kazakhstan within 4 to 6 weeks after the submission of your dossier. Both parents must travel, and you have the option of staying the entire 30 days required or breaking the time up into two trips to Kazakhstan - the first for 14 days and the second for approximately 10 days with a 2 week break between the two trips. If you decide to stay the 30 days in country, one parent can return home after the court date, which is usually about 14 days. If you decide to break the time required in country into two trips, both parents must travel on the first trip, but only one parent needs to make the return trip to pick up the adopted child. A very realistic time from for an adoption in Kazakhstan is approximately 6 to 8 months from the beginning to the end of the process.
